Yes. You must have had one of the diseases covered by this service diagnosed. You also need to do the following:

Request a second medical opinion in writing while the policy is in force.
Provide the results of all clinical examinations and tests in your possession to demonstrate that you are suffering from one of the serious Illnesses referred to and need to undergo surgery.

If the documentation you provide is insufficient for a second medical opinion to be given, you will have to pay for any additional test(s) required to complete the information needed for a second opinion.

No. The second medical opinion service does not affect the price of the premium.

You can benefit from our second medical opinion service until all the serious illnesses defined therein are covered or, failing that, until you have undergone 5 surgical operations.
