What our personal accident insurance covers

The insurance guarantees compensation for the capital arranged in the event that the insured person dies due to a direct cause of an accident.

In addition, the beneficiaries may receive an advance sum to cover the expenses arising from the death and, for example, the burial.

We guarantee that compensation will be paid in accordance with the level of seriousness of the after-effects of an accident suffered by the insured party, as set out in the scale of disability in the conditions of the policy.

In the event that you are temporarily unable to carry out your profession as a result of an accident or illness, you can choose to take out the scale-based daily sick leave guarantee or the actual and effective sick leave guarantee.

If as a result of the accident or illness you require hospitalisation, this guarantee will provide you a daily indemnity as of the first day of hospitalisation until discharge, with a maximum limit of 365 days.

You can also include an additional sum for medical, pharmaceutical and hospitalisation expenses, as well as those arising from the transport required for subsequent treatment or rehabilitation.

This complementary coverage has been conceived to protect you when travelling through Spain or around the world, provided that you are 25 km from your habitual residence (10 km in island territories) with services such as:

Repatriation or medical transportation in case of injury or illness If this situation arises when you travel in the company of minors under 15 years of age under your care, the insurer will organise and pay for the return trip of a hostess or a person designated by the insured party, in order to accompany the minor or minors on their return to their habitual place of residence.
Payment or reimbursement of medical, surgical, pharmaceutical and hospitalisation costs abroad, up to the limit stipulated in the policy.
Repatriation in the event of death.
Travel for a family member in the event of hospitalisation.
