Activating Double protection home is very easy and only requires two simple steps:
- Signing up for the Double protection home promotion through your insurance agent, our website or any of our channels.
- Signing the alarm service contract that you will receive via email. In that email, you will find the alarm contract, which you will have to sign digitally.
From there on, we will take care of everything: in less than 24 hours, an expert will contact you to arrange the alarm's installation, which will be carried out quickly and easily.
With this final step, the activation will be complete and your home fully protected.
In Double protection home, billing is suited to each service: home insurance is paid by means of an annual premium, with the possibility of splitting it into instalments, depending on the characteristics of the property, whereas the alarm service is billed through a convenient monthly fee. During the first 3 years, both the insurance and alarm will have a fixed price.
From the fourth year onwards, the promotional period will expire and both prices will be updated to the current market conditions. However, as long as you continue with the insurance and alarm, you will enjoy extended anti-occupation coverage at no additional cost.
Double protection home is conceived for you to enjoy the insurance and alarm together for a period of 3 years. If you decide to cancel any of the services before the end of that period, the benefits associated with this combination will no longer apply:
- If you cancel the home insurance policy, the alarm fee will be updated to the non-promotional price (€48.90/month), with the corresponding annual updates according to the CPI, and you will no longer be protected by the burglary and anti-occupation coverage provided by the home insurance policy.
- If you cancel the alarm, the insurance premium will be updated in accordance with the rate in force at the next renewal, and the extended anti-occupation coverage included free of charge in the offer will no longer apply.
In addition, the promotion includes the alarm's installation at no cost (valued at €399), which involves a 24‑month commitment to maintaining the alarm service. If the alarm's cancellation is requested before completing that period, Movistar Prosegur Alarmas may charge the installation cost and an early termination fee of up to €499, which is progressively reduced according to the time elapsed.
Yes. If you are already an Occident customer and have your home insurance in place, you can add Movistar Prosegur Alarmas' alarm service as an additional benefit, maintaining the same exclusive conditions of the offer.
You will enjoy a fixed alarm fee of €44.90/month (VAT included) for 3 years, plus benefits such as free installation and the option to add detectors and other additional devices, which will also have a fixed price for 3 years.
The price of your home insurance will not be affected by signing up for the alarm, but as long as you maintain both services, you will benefit from extended anti-occupation coverage at no additional cost.
Double protection home combines home insurance and an alarm system to offer more comprehensive protection against occupation, acting before, during and after the incident:
- Prevention and immediate detection: the visible alarm plaque, which has been acknowledged as a powerful deterrent, helps prevent unauthorised access from day one. In addition, the alarm acts immediately upon any attempted intrusion, reporting to the police in less than 20 seconds.
- Proof of unauthorised access: if the home becomes occupied, the alarm will be crucial in demonstrating that access to the home was not consented and in facilitating a swift intervention.
- Quick insurance response: if an incident occurs, the insurance policy's associated coverage will be activated in order to manage the situation quickly and efficiently (replacement of locks, legal claim and defence, cleaning service, compensation for utilities, protection against acts of vandalism, etc.).
Therefore, the combination of an alarm system and insurance allows for a more effective response to occupation in all its stages.
If you move, there is nothing to worry about.
The alarm system includes the option of moving home free of charge every two years, allowing you to reinstall it in your new home and continue to be protected at no additional cost.
In relation to the home insurance policy, your new home's risk will be assessed to adapt the coverage and premium to its characteristics. The portion of the premium that has already been paid will be deducted from the new amount, only adjusting the difference if applicable.

Promotion for new contracts of the alarm service, marketed by Movistar Prosegur Alarmas, S.L., signed together with the multi-risk home insurance policy in its Double Protection Home modality, marketed by Occident GCO, S.A.U. de Seguros y Reaseguros, for the same domicile.
- Alarm service at a cost of €44.90/month (VAT included) for the first 36 months; after month 37, €48.90/month; and subsequently subject to update. Installation included, except in case of non-compliance with the commitment term. Minimum commitment term for the alarm service: 24 months; early cancellation includes a penalty of up to €499 (taxes not included). Includes one free transfer every 24 months, unlimited Immediate Intervention security guard and free custody of keys for 36 months, subject to geographical coverage. The promotion will expire if the insurance policy is cancelled, and the market conditions of the alarm service will apply.
- Multi-risk insurance policy in the Double Protection Home modality. The premium amount will remain fixed for the first 36 months, unless the insured risk is modified. Changes in coverage or capital will result in an adjustment to the premium, which will remain stable in subsequent renewals up to the completion of said period. Extended guarantees against illegal occupation (compensation for expenses arising from utilities, intermediation fees and cleaning services) included at no cost. The promotion will expire upon the cancellation or termination of the alarm, which will lead to changing the premium amount and losing the guarantees included free of charge.
